Wimpy S. Tjetjep    Wimpy S. Tjetjep is the chairman of West Java Contract Bridge Association for 1995-1999, 1999-2003.  He is well known as an expert in volcanology,  and currently he is The Director General of Geology and Mineral Resources.  He graduated Philosophy Doctor in Geophysics at Institute Nationale Polytechnique de Lorraine (Nancy),  France.   Not only expert in his major,  he is also a life master in bridge game.  His bridge club, GEOLOGY, since 1990 won several National  Bridge Tournament,   Especially in 2002 Geology won the National and  ASEAN Bridge Club Competition.

The distribution     S AT9632 H J76 D 9 C J75     S QJ4 H Q D T8764 C Q864   S 75 H 8532 D KJ C AT932       S K8 H AKT94 D AQ532 C K     Mr. Wimpy played 6H from the south.  West leads small Club, and South ruffed the continuation.  He cashed DA and ruff a diamond.  When the King fell in second round,  Mr. Wimpy played a trump to King in order to ruff  another diamond with the jack,  but when the queen appeared in west hand,  he changed his plan.  Ruffing with the Jack will promote a trump trick to East.  So, he finished the trumps and squeezed west in three suits.  A brilliant technique played by the chairman.
